DS found a ladybug during naptime today and set "him" on his night table, thinking it'd be there when he got up. Weeeell, Dom's been looking for that darn bug for an hour and a half... just bawling "Momma, where'd he go? Where's my best friend, Buggy?", "Buggy! Come back to me, Buggy!"

Poor dude.

ETA: Technically it's one of those Japanese beetle thingies, not a genuine lady bug but whatevs.

Awwww! Poor little guy!!

My nephew adopted a caterpillar on vacation this summer...he put it in the trailer. It took a LONG time for my sister to find it (and umm...get rid of it).

I actually didn't even think to take pics... I was scouring the floorboards for ladybugs :D LOLOL

Ladybug Hunt '09 continues tomorrow... I think once he finds one, I'll snap a photo and journal the whole thing :D Of course you can't find the buggers when you WANT to... :glare:
