What are you making for the Super Bowl?

Anything special?

I think we are making nachos fixings, chili and we have some tamales in the deep freeze.

And I need to come up with some type of dessert.

No, we aren't having a party. I am using the game as an excuse to not diet that day so I want some good naughty food.

We will probably have nachos, and I asked Tony last night if he wanted me to make chili. Since it's only 2 of us, I'm not sure how much more we'll need, but I like to have wings too!

I am working, so it will be my normal lunch, a Lean Cuisine, a piece of fruit and carrots. Some wheat thins as a snack. :)

Nothing. Because Jordan has insane superstitions and even though we'll be at home he refuses to have anyone over for a small party. :glare:

So I'll lock myself in the bedroom and have chips with onion dip, and fritos with salsa and boneless teriyaki wings with fries. :)

I'm making this:

Just kidding, but I couldn't resist posting this monstrosity.

Umm...nothing LOL. Nobody in our house watches sports (well, ok, I watch baseball every now and again).

I usually make Mexican Eggrolls (lemme know if you want the recipe) but Jeff is working until 6 so we aren't going to my mom's.. so.. I don't know. We might just order pizza.

I don't know if hubby will be working or not. But I'll make the usual Buffalo Chicken Dip (all the guys that come over beg me to make it). And then we will probably order pizza or chinese.

What time are you serving? I don't want to miss out on any of the good food! :p

Carrot Cake LOL We're going to my BFF's house and she's a super picky PITA eater so they're covering the "real" food, I think ribs, chicken and potato salad. It's been requested that I bring my "famous" carrot cake and a six pack :p

LOL, we're definitely the odd ones out then...we'll probably be doing our grocery shopping during the game, because the store will be alot less crowded!

Seriously, we're probably doing some kind of Mexican food: Chicken Nachos or Shrimp-Stuffed Poblano Peppers and something milder for the kids, like Quesadillas with Chicken or Shrimp.

Nothing, it will be a regular Sunday around here with the usual dinner as no one in this house watches football.

I'll be making my first attempt at homemade rice krispy treats & homemade salsa! I love using other people as guinea pigs! LOL :)

We're getting out the deep fryer and will do homemade chips and fries, mozzarella sticks, pizza rolls, and whatever else we have in the freezer.

We'll probably grill something like hot dogs too.

And we are doing chocolate fondue for dessert.

CAN'T WAIT!! GO CARDINALS!

I'm not entirely sure what we're doing this year. Normally we get the Chicago-style pizza from Papa Murphy's but we haven't had much luck cooking it at the high altitude here, so I think we may be doing something else. I'm sure my DH has some kind of plan, he's much more excited about the food than the game. :D

Probably tortilla chips and rotel cheese dip, boneless buffalo wings, jalapeno poppers, cheese & crackers, little smokies & pizza rolls for the kids and some desserts (probably brownies).

hot wings, chips & dips, popcorn and ice cream sundaes. We are chaperones at church for the Youth Super Bowl Party. So we are just snacking on junk food! It's my "fat" day so I am looking forward to it!!
