I just finished "Summer" by Karen Kingsbury. She writes Inspirational Ficton books...any followers out there? I used to read lots of her books (pre-introduction to digi) and have loved everyone! Not to spoil...but I cried strait through the last 3 chapters, mostly in a good way. I love how she draws you into the stories, they seem so real! Anyway, am I the only one that gets so sappy and wrapped up in these types of books?

I love her books! that said, it has been a while since I have read any. Have you read Ocean's Apart? That was good!
I also really liked A time to Dance and a Time to Embrace (they go together). I liked the second one better, but they were just SO good!!!!

No, I haven't. She has over 30 titles!!! I've read most of her "Baxter Family" stories ... 14 of those, and her 9-11 series plus a few more! They are all so good!!!

I've heard of her, and at Costco I found a couple books by her that looked interesting. She's a Christian Fiction writer - but I wonder how religious they are?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Karen Kingsbury. I am about 1/2 way through the Baxters but I read a bunch before that. her 9/11 series is awesome too!
