I am making LO's for photos I hope to take in the future.

Yes, really. I didn't think I'd ever do this. I'm a ' it's about preserving the memories' kinda girl, but I've been so 'off' this month I haven't really been taking pictures. But I still love scrapping.

So am I the only one who makes LO's before they have the photo? Does this make me a crazy scrapper?

Oh, no. I used to do this all the time. There are just too many cute kits out there; the tempation is too great. I have this perfect page I made using Amanda's All Boy kit, but I need to get my kids to go roll around in the mud in order to finish it. And they really just hate mud. Both of them. :( Does that mean they're not all boy?

LOL Kellie about the mud! I think my boys would think I'd gone off the deep end if I asked them to actually go play in mud!

I have never been caught up enought to scrap without photos!

I'm with Pam. I don't think I'll ever be "caught up" enough to scrap without photos.

But, if you have a story tell and don't have any photos to go with it, check out the current challenge at Hodge Podge Art This might be right up your alley!

All the time!!! It helps me get my mojo back when I can't seem to fit a page to my picture. Right now I am "pre-scrapping" a little boy book so I have some pages ready for when our new little man comes out and I don't have time or energy anymore :)

*LOL* maybe it is quick page making! hahaha.... well, I've got four of them, I just need to take the photos now. I know just what I want to put on the page, I just haven't got the right picture yet. :) Thanks for making me feel like less of a scrap looser!

I don't think it makes you a crazy scrapper at all. I also scrap to preserve memories, and while almost all of my pages have pictures, memories don't have to be documented with just pictures. Telling the story with words has the same purpose and can even be more powerful. So if you don't end up getting pictures, I think it's completely okay. You've still documented the story.

Lindy, you are not alone, I have also done this in the past in hopes of getting that perfect photo to use....

I do this when I find an AMAZING LO and I want to CASE it... and if I don't have a pic that I think works perfectly, I just save it for later!

LOL yes I used to do this all the time, now when I get the urge to scrap I just do recipe pages so at least I feel productive
