Did the blind guy make it through? I saw him on the preview but I swear I watched the entire episode and didn't see him. Did I miss it? Anyone know?
 
Thanks! I'm disappointed..I was hoping to see him. I hope he made it through..did I dream it or was there a preview with him playing the piano?
 
he was on..and made it thru

They just showed a little clip of him when they said who else in a group made it. They did not show his performance. I think he was in the same group as that girl Frankie.

There was a clip of that..tonight when they showed him though it was just him and a microphone..so hopefully we'll see that part still!
 
Are you talking about a clip of him playing the piano? Because I think that'll be the round after the group round. No one was using instruments in round 1.
 
I was hoping they wouldn't do group rounds this year..I like the format of hollywood week much better last year...it just doesn't seem fair to stick them in groups like that and why do it anyway when it's a competition to select a solo artist kwim?. I guess they just want all the "drama" that goes with the group stuff.
 
In their 'defense,' Nikki, I think part of the reason for group sessions is because they do perform group numbers once they make it to the Top 10/12 as well as on the tour they are obligated to perform in the 5-6 months after the show's over.

But mostly, yes, I think it's for all the performer crying screaming 'I hate you' 'Nobody likes me' 'Music is my dream' BS drama. :)
