So, we went for our first ultrasound yesterday, thinking we would find out if we're having a boy or a girl-
For one, the tech almost killed me (an insensitive man!) by pushing the thingy really hard over my C-section scar! I wanted to get up & run, and I would've if I knew that...
He couldn't tell what we're having!
I really wanted to find out, but I guess I have to wait for another month or whatever.
But get this- this baby's fat! LOL! It's the right measurements for how far along I am (when he measured the head and arm & leg bones, etc.) but he said the baby weighs about 9 oz. right now- when at this stage, they usually weigh 5 1/2
I find it so funny that babies can be so different from one to the next. My 3-year old was severally premature (he was born 9 weeks early because I had pre-eclampsia- he weighed 1 lb. 15 oz. at birth! Now this one's weighing in at almost double what they're normally.
Thank God I have to have a repeat C-section! LOL!
And this one's extremely active! It wouldn't stop moving at all (which was probably why he couldn't tell what it is). And he caught it sucking its thumb!
(I hate saying "it"- I wish I could say "he" or "she"!)
