How's the extension for your file- I don't use the same program, but I had a similiar problem once.... When I was naming my file, I accidentally hit a letter in with the .psd (or .png, whichever it was)- it wouldn't work but when I manually changed the extension in my Windows pictures file- it fixed it. Check that, I hope that's all the problem is :)

you could rename the extension of it and retry the program. I cant remember how to get the full filename to show though

Are you dragging from a folder or using File-->Open? I've had that message show up when I drag files from a folder vs using File-->Open. When it happens, I just use F-->Open and the problem is solved. I'm not sure what causes it, but for me it's never been too much hassle.
