Little monkey!

I asked him last night if he had any homework, told him to check his bag, and see what he had. He says he has "nothing, only home reading". Ok fine, that's the usual, so I didn't check. I get up this morning and look in his bag for something else, and there are EIGHT sheets of homework in there! WTF!

So he's off to school this morning without his work done, he wanted me to keep him home, but I told him no, you don't stay home because YOU lied to me. And I knew he lied rather than "forgot" because I could tell by the look on his face.

This stuff fries my bacon! I'm sure he's smart enough, the homework is not a big deal that way, but come on man, don't lie to your mama! :cursing:

I am not looking forward to homework with my kids...I know it'll be a constant battle!!

But good for you for sending him to school without his homework done. Hopefully he'll learn quickly...

He came home from school, they sent them home at lunch time because a huge storm is coming, and didn't even eat lunch, by HIS OWN CHOICE. He took his bag and went right downstairs LOL.

That'll learn you boy!! LOL

I would be frustrated too...

Natalie is only 6 and she is starting that kind of stuff. I hate not trusting her, but she is so sneaky. She took her lunch money out of her folder in her bag and hid it in our hat/mitten box. I didn't find out until I got a second bill and it said I didn't pay the previous one. Don't they realize we will find out?

Ugh I can relate too. Lily and the homework isnt an issue exactly but she has been VERY sneaky too lately with other things. And then of course she blames the boys and I feel bad reall ycoming down on her unless I know for sure. But I just know. Catch 22 I guess. I hope that it gets better hon. For all of us lol!

I totally feel for you on this one, Jamie! Twice this week, JP left his spelling worksheet at school. He got lucky the first time in that I remembered enough of the words for him to do that night's sentences. Yesterday though, I made him right a note of apology to his teacher for not having his homework done.
