Today I got an email from McAfee saying they billed me $75 to renew my subscription... but I did NOT ask to renew. Apparently when I bought my year subscription LAST year, they automatically enrolled me for yearly renewals. :thumbdown: I wasn't going to renew because now we get FREE McAfee through my cable company. I contacted them and they cancelled the charge, but there's still a hold on that money in my checking account.... boooo! :glare: I wanted to go shopping too.
 
That does suck! But YAY for free McAfee...our ISP offers that too and it makes things so much easier!
 
I hate that. I really think that they need to notify you BEFORE they do that. My sister had that happen to her and didnt have money to buy groceries because of it :blink:

Yeah, if I didn't have money in savings, that would've been a problem for me too.
