First Gallery post... looks all icky & pixellated

I used "save for web & devices" in CS3. It needed to be "low quality" to be under the 150 k image requirement. Why does it look SOOO crappy?

First of all when you're in "save for web" , where it says "preset" and a whole bunch of other stuff, directly below the "done" button...there's a little arrow to the side, click on that and select "optimize to file size" and enter 150kb in the box. That will automatically make it go to the highest setting possible while staying just under 150kb. HTH!

Did you resize it while you were doing Save for Web to 600x600 pixels? You shouldn't have to bring down the quality too much after you resize.
