Another Fireproof Triumph!!

We just finished watching this tonight and my DH liked it a lot. This is huge. He is not a sappy movie type of guy and he has agreed to go with me to get The Love Dare tomorrow for us to work on.

Yay! That's wonderful! DH and I are still working on the Love Dare and now that we've got the class going at church, we're going through a study guide, too. It's been just a great experience. So glad your DH watched and enjoyed it!! :)
 
No one shoot me... but we rented Fireproof and made it about halfway thorugh before getting bored and turning it off. We have a strong marriage, but ae not really religious, so maybe that's it... I'm kinds bummed since I heard such good stuff about it... but I get the message behind it...

Anyway, I AM glad it is helping you though! :)
 
That's great to hear. I am going to have to talk to my dh about it. We are not religious either and I often get annoyed by things being too religious so I am not sure how I would take it.
 
That's awesome, Mandy! There's one thing that I didn't like about doing the Love Dare as the same time w/DH is we were always on the same day so we knew exactly what was gonna happen. And it kinda made it almost like a competition. I'm going to do it again but not tell DH. I want that surprise behind it! But, I thought it was an awesome movie! Of course, I'm a little biased, since I grew up in Albany, GA, know some of the people & my Mom has been on staff at Sherwood (the church that does the movies) for years! lol
 
I'm glad he liked it, Mandy! I asked DH Jeff to watch it with me a week or two ago. He's not a sappy-movie guy either, and he's not a christian so I knew it was a stretch for him to watch it. But it really hit home with him. I'm glad we did it.
