so the other day, my 6 y.o. son was talking about "favorite" things and he asked me about my favorite cereal. I told him it was Cap'n Crunch, but that I rarely eat it because it's so unhealthy.
Well, at 6 a.m. this morning, there came a tap on my door and my son came in with a tray with a big ol' bowl of Cap'n Crunch on it (and OJ and a banana, my favorite fruit). He made me breakfast in bed! He had help from DH, of course, but my sweet DS planned the whole thing. What an awesome, thoughtful thing for a 6 year old to come up with.:wub:
