I need help thinking of stuff for this wedding gift!

So, my sister is getting married this week and I decided I wanted to give them a basket for their wedding night. When I got married, someone made us something similar with stuff you kinda don't think about before checking into the hotel... like snacks and drinks and stuff. You know, after the fun is over, you kinda need some refreshment. :P So, does anyone have any good suggestions of stuff to put in the basket?

great idea!!! A bottle of wine/champagne & glasses for before, then their favorite non-alcoholic beverage (they will need to re-hydrate LOL), fruit, a great loaf of bread & some good cheese, a snack mix or trail mix all for after.

non edible stuff: Scented candles, bath oils or body lotion/massage oil, A “Do Not Disturb” door hanger,

is it bad that as I typed all those non-edible things I imagined coordinating personalized hybrid labels on it all LOL.

Ours that we got had lotion, bubble bath, chocolates and stuff like that. My SIL gave that to us. And actually the coolest thing was she got into our hotel suite before we got there and had rose petals all along the hallway up to the bed, she also stocked the fridge in the kitchen with all sorts of breakfast goodies for the next morning. That was one of my favorite things!! :)

brides and grooms are usually FAMISHED after their wedding (no time to eat lol) so snacks are a good idea. Maybe some chocolate-covered nuts. Or some bread and cheese. Also, something fun like a disposable camera (not for naughty pics, hopefully lol) and maybe some bubble bath or massage lotion.
I LOVE the door hanger idea too!!

we had one of those too I don't know if my SIL made it herself or bought it but it also included many of the things listed plus fresh fruit, beef stick, cheeses and the best part of all......a little mini size cutting board, paring knife, plates and silverware!!!!

Maybe Chocolate Covered Strawberries. That would be yummy!

Some fruit, maybe wine, if they drink. I know we were starved and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. We ended up going out to dinner that night. We got married in the afternoon, but I'm sure most people don't want to leave their rooms after they're all done with the wedding.

Oh, I hadn't thought of fresh fruit! Good one! I had already planned on chocolate covered strawberries though... just wondering how I could package them pretty.

Another idea: for the bride, a pair of fuzzy stretchy cushy slippers. Oh, yeah - the feet will be killing after a day of standing around and dancing.
