Printing rules....

Since I know now that Viovio is the place to get things printed I am ready to start getting some done. I know you are suppose to leave some kind of margin but is there an exact amount or is 1/4 inch acceptable. What other things should I know about having my LO printed. I have about 18mos worth of pages to print. I honestly have never printed a 12x12 at all. So I am nervous. I was contemplating printing individual pages and just putting them in my books but Viovio has nice big books and I can pick the cover so that is awesome. So any advice for a newbie printer??

I don't know anything about Viovio but I get mine printed at scrapbookpictures and the quality is amazing. I scrap in 12x12 but I print in 8x8 single pages and load in albums. SBP has a sale every now and then for 8x8 prints at $1.49 each. That's when I print mine off. They also have a flat rate shipping of $2.00 no matter how many prints you get. I upload to their site at 12x12 and they do the size down to 8x8 for me and there is no margin I set. HTH

ETA: I scrapped in 12x12 format for 7 years when I was a paper scrapper and I have shelves full of big heavy books that are usually just in the way and my kids hardley ever get down. When I started digital I switched to 8x8 and it is the perfect size. My kids enjoy looking at them and do so often and they don't take up tons of room. I still see all the detail on my pages that I did with the 12x12.
