Okay, I am pretty good at figuring out my own blog.... I got Zoe's Wild Thing blog pack to decorate my family blog, but it's not working. I go to paste my HTML and it keeps saying:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The value of attribute "src" associated with an element type "null" must not contain the '<' character.

I followed the tutorial exactly and made sure I didn't delete any of the " or ' needed before and after the image urls and text I had to edit.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

That happened to me a lot too. Are you using the new version of blogger? After a few times, I realized I was using the old version of blogger. Then after I switched, I realized I was completely deleting some important stuff on accident. Make sure you are pasting your code in Zoe's word document before pasting the whole code in your html spot in your blogger.

I don't even know what the old version of blogger is?

I am editing the code in the word doc and not on blogger like it recommended. Sheesh, this is taking me longer than if I'd just decorated it myself. lol I suck.

I had that problem too and managed to get it fixed, but now I can't remember what I did. Double check all of the places with " and ' where you entered code...I do remember there was one missing but assumed that I'd accidentally pasted over it or something.

I've checked it like 5 times. They're all there... at least from what I can see.

Great, now blogger keeps giving me an error when I try to preview the edits I've done.

I. give. up.

Sigh.

Don't give up - I had issues too, but finally figured it out and I love it!
Maybe PM Zoe to see if she can help?

Yeah, I'll try it again later... but I have to run because I've got a hair appointment! YAY!

Don't fix it all in Word. When you copy something from work it copies all sorts of JUNK in there too. At least in my experience. Work it in Notepad, or copy it from Word to Notepad before copying it to blogger. Usually when I have problems, that fixes it.

Good luck!
