You gotta see my DS's birthday cupcakes for his soccer team!

I made these from the Hello Cupcake book and I'm so happy they turned out. Well except that the ears on the chocolate labs "melted" off last night and I had to redo them. So FYI do not put the ears on until the day you serve them!!

Seriously you can!! I thought the sheepdog would be so hard because of it is mostly icing (and no other candies etc) but it was the easiest. And the nice thing about this book is all they use is ziploc baggies!! No fancy stuff. Just stuff some frosting in a bag, snip the corner (pretty small snip) and then gently squeeze and drag. I couldn't believe how easy it was considering I've tried to decorate stuff before with those bakers bags and decortor tips!!
 
Thanks guys!! I also did this as a practice run to see if I could do it. My hairdresser works for the local humane society which is having a fundraiser in March and they will be selling doggie pupcakes and I wanted to see if I was going to be able to help out making them. I'm at least confident enough to say yes now!!

And they were delish! BTW
 
Oh these came out wonderfully! I am no where's near ready to try these yet....I did make the mashed potatoes and peas/carrot cupcakes though....I absolutely love the "Hello Cupcake" book....I just got mine a couple of weeks ago!:thumbup:

I am so tempted to try to make those, they look so "real" that they are so fun!! Now I have to come up with another excuse to make cupcakes!!! I guess the peas could be for ST.Pattrick's day?!! (green)

Yes, the peas could be for St. Patrick's Day OR you could say your children need their daily dose of veggies....LOL:thumbup:
