I just read about this on another CT forum and wanted to post it here. In Newton, KS an adorable 11 month old baby girl lost her battle with cancer recently. Her name is Cora Paige, and the family is raising funds to build Cora's Playground at their church. A virtual TON of etsy sellers have banded together to help with this project. Please go take a look.. and if there's something you need.. please consider a purchase to help Cora.

ETA her mom's blog if you are interested

I read about her before and after she passed. So sad. That is awesome about the sellers.

I went and checked out the sales. I got a lovely bar of lavendar goats milk, homemade soap from The Muddy Moose. I'm glad to help.

Thanks for posting this :)
I had never sold on etsy before, but was so moved by this little girl's story that I got craftin' and have been selling some things to raise money for this sweet baby's playground! Even my 5 year-old got involved and made some cards that have already sold - YAY!

Here's also an article on etsy about the Cora's Playground Project:

What a heart wrenching story, Cora was such a beautiful little girl and is now a sweet little angel. Newton is only like 30-45 minutes from here, from reading the family's blog she was at Wesley Hospital which is right here in my town (and where all my babies were born). I'm needing some baby gifts so I will definitely be purchasing on Etsy to help raise funds for her playground!

I just received some alligator clip hair ribbons in the mail yesterday that I'd purchased for Cora's Playground project. I read about her story after she was already gone, sadly, but I was glad to help even if just a little bit.
