This next Friday, my youngest sister and her husband are going to be finalizing the adoption of their "foster daughter" Ariella....She will be their 4th Adopted Child and will join 3 beautiful little girls (all siblings) that they adopted as well as a brother (their only biological child)....Ariella has lived in their home for 5 years and just recently turned 17 years old....She is such a sweet young lady and I really would like to do a little something for her, nothing expensive, but something to welcome her officially into the family....Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas?

Thanks for any help!

something with her name engraved on it (cause Im assuming once she is adopted her name will be changed to reflect her new parents last name??) Maybe like an ID bracelet? Or a nice journal for her to record her feelings and thoughts of her finalzation of adoption

Jessica, I really like your idea of an ID bracelet....Last I knew she was keeping her first name, but definitely changing her middle name and her last name....Her middle name, are you ready for this, is Nirvana....All I can say is what the heck was her "biological Mother" thinking--or doing when she named her....

Thanks for the great idea!
