After looking at this store for more than a year, I finally succombed and bought my first SSD products on Saturday. I'll jump in to the challenges but have no idea how some of you can produce so many layouts in a month??? Does anyone work??? LOL!

Anyway I have been scrapping for a year and look forward to joining in.
 
some of us do and some of us don't. :p welcome carolyn...it's super fun around here...do what you want/can and just have fun!! :thumbup:
 
hahaha! i don't work, and i can't keep up with the challenges, either. But this month I'm going to try my darndest!

I can't keep up with the challenges either and I'm a SAHM.

I'm sure you'll earn more points than I do. Can't wait to see some of your layouts!
 
Right now I"m only working part time.. and have a 3 month old on top of already having my 3yo and 5yo.... but this was the FIRST month I did pretty much all the challenges... not sure I'll be able to do that once I go back to work.

But it's still fun to play along and just get more pages scrapped!

Welcome to SSD!! You'll find your groove with the challenges...just have fun! I like the challenges because they make me scrap more...which I had trouble with before, having a full time job during the day! Relax and have fun, that's what they are there for!

I do work- just on my computer!!! I own my own (CU) shop, so I'm always on my computer- when I don't feel like designing, I put together layouts for challenges! I'm addicted to Sweet Shoppe! :)
 
Welcome! lol I don't work, and my husband is deployed, so I get a lot of free time at night to scrap. Once he's home I probably won't get nearly as many done. :)
 
I work full-time and have a 2 year old and I have been doing the full amount of challenges since last summer. Its fun. Welcome!
 
Welcome to SSD Carolyn!! I started buying here about a year ago, and now I am hard pressed to stay OUT of the store, lol!!! Care to share with us what your first purchase was ;)?

About the challenge thing, I've done it once to get the 40% discount and I was fried by the end of the month, my head hurt and my mojo disappeared for 2 months! I have NO idea how some of these ladies can do it month after month. I aspire to be 1/4 as talented as them... sigh.

I actually work 2 jobs, but I've not been scrapping as much because of sickies and mojo-loss. I usually scrap at night, my kids go to bed really early!
