Unwanted Caller

Has anyone had someone call their home repeatedly?

There is this cell phone number calling our house at all hours of the night. Now, I know the cell phone cannot dial itself, but they have never left a..shall I say...clear message on our VM. They call at 10 or 11 at night and call 3 times in a row or so & the last call is just background noise on the VM. The one time they did leave a message, the person sounded very young.

The calls stopped, but when I woke up this morning, there on my phone was 3 calls right in a row. My DH called the number this am, but it went right to VM.

What do I do? Obviously we did not hear the phone last night, but when the phone rings THAT late - my immediate reaction is "Who died?" and I am up all night. Having a worry fit.

block the number or call it back. I have to say though if it is a cell phone it could be dialing without the owner knowing. My daughters phone used to call all the time because she would not lock the keypad and she would just be talking in the background and my phone would not hang up so Id be on the phone yelling trying to get her to hear me but of course her phone is in her pocket or backpack or whatever and while it might be 9 or 10 your time it might not be in the same time zone or maybe the person works nights and is at work. There is really no telling. Most likely though it is an accidental dial that has gotten stored in the phone and is being pushed while in a pocket/purse/backpack

bum calls! lol ... you should have left a really odd message on their vm ^_^

I would have left a nasty message too! LOL
