charge for a lap infant?!?!?!?!?

is this possible?
I booked a flight in January with Allegiant Air and and paid in full. I called this week to add my 14 month old dd as a lap infant. They re-emailed me my itenerary with a $50 misc charge. What is this about??? I'm trying to get through right now b/c my flight is in the morning....UGH!

I've not heard of that before, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were to start charging. They nickel and dime for everything else. Of course, I buy seats for my kids (even as infants), so $50 is a bargain to me!

I'm not familiar with the airline, but a lot of them charge a fee for any changes made to an itinerary after the flight is booked.... But, it really wouldn't surprise me if they started charging for infants as well. I'd definitely call and ask.

I *think* it is taken care of....we'll see I guess!
