Oh I love lists! I've already made a dent in mine today, but here's what I've got left:

* Dishes
* Fold and put away 2 loads of laundry
* Run to Lowe's for light bulbs
* Come home and replace the SIX lightbulbs that are out in my living room ceiling
* Sweep/mop kitchen & entryway
* Catch up on gallery comments
* Work on next week's new kit. ;)
* Dinner's already in the crock pot, so I just need to make sides to go with that tonight.

I could not have made it my first 15 years of my marriage without lists. I actually didn't have one when I first got married and started having kids, and then I realized that I must be A.D.D. This is before there was much out about it, and I would jump from one thing to the next and totally forget what I was supposed to be doing. I still make lists, but they aren't as detailed as the ones I used to do.

1. Clean the kitchen
2. Wipe kitchen cupboards down
3. Wash the sliding glass door and a few other windows
4. Vacuum downstairs
5. Clean all three kitty litters
6. Change my sheets
7. Ten loads of laundry today, folded and put away
8. Scrap a few layouts
9. Downstairs bathroom
10. Upstairs bathrooms if there is time
11. Think of something for dinner (a thought is a good start)
12. Dust blinds in kitchen windows

and I'm sure there will be things that will pop up as I'm working and will distract me, but that's just me!

Items in red are done, but I cheated today, and actually got my 21 y/o to help me do the windows. Lately, I can't get him out of bed...He must want something!!

Well originally I had "homeschooling" on the list and that was it...and do the SSD challenge for today....but the day drastically changed when I realized I had:

no milk in the house
no meat in the house (except 25 pound turkeys and they would take a few days to thaw)
no cereal in the house
no other breakfast food in the house
no tomato sauce in the house (it's almost as necessary as taco sauce)
no bread in the house
....well you get the picture... lol ...I went to the store...

...then dh told me to go get the "Coca Cola" pulls for my cabinet he was making me (and I found out once I was there that allt he Coca Cola pulls have been discontined ...so glad I didn't wait any longer to get them!

...and had to take son to get his bowling ball drilled because his hand had grown...needed it done before tournament

...but now I am back home...so need to scrap that layout and we're extending our school day since it got interrupted...

...but still there really is nothing on the agenda other than watching "Open Season 2" tonight that I rented...ahhhhhhhhh love the simple nights!

Done:
one round of dishes

In progress:

Still to do:
another round of dishes
sweep/mop kitchen
drop off car at airport for DH (coming home tonight after 7 weeks TDY...woohoo!)
vacuum
wash load of whites

blog

I had to go in to work today.... and it's now almost 6pm.. but there's a few things I'd like to get done today.

- sort through mailstack on my desk ---- DONE

- Dishes ---- DONE

ok, that's plenty to do LOL. Then I can scrapbook :)

Today was a good day for getting things done because the boys had preschool in the morning and the baby slept for an hour of that time. :) Why is it that I can accomplish more in a child-free hour than I can during an entire day with them?

Already done:
-Fold finished laundry
-Do another load
-Rearrange DS2's drawers
-Clean kitchen
-Straighten playroom and family room
-Clean downstairs bathroom
-Make dinner
-Upload LOs
-Speech practice with DS2

Still to do:
-Change ink and print recent LOs
-Scrap
-Finish organizing and burning Feb photos

Things that are probably getting bumped to tomorrow (my list is always too long):
-Finish organizing desk
-Do insurance paperwork
-Write thank you notes

Done:

Two loads of laundry, including one of cloth diapers (still need to fold/stuff pocket dipes)

Dusted blinds in master bedroom

Flossed

Cut out 1/2 the cardboard I need to make ds this play kitchen

Did Paper 2 Digi layout

Nursed teethy, cranky baby 600 times :glare:

Still need to unload the dishwasher... hard to do with a highly curious 11 month old and a pain-in-the-booty 4 year old underfoot.

Need to pack our crap for our trip up to the in-laws tomorrow morning.

Looks like a really late dinner... hubby just Skyped me that one of the servers on his network went down...

Yeah, I totally got nothing done today, lol. My excuse is that both kids were home...that makes things more difficult. I'm sticking to it, anyway. ;)

Oh well, there's always Sunday! :D
