yesterday afternoon, a switch or transistor or something blew down here along the industrial strip where I work. Des stayed home yesterday, and we knew it affected his workplace, cause the guys there called our home to see if it got us too (it didn't). Well, guess it hit here at work too (two buildings down from DH's work) - I showed up to work wondering why we had no lights on in my office. Well, we have partial power - lights in the boss' office, half the lights in the warehouse ... but no heat! Brrr!!
Hydro just popped their heads in, we are losing complete power within the hour while they repair the blown transponder.
And get this - NO ONE phoned it in until this morning ... when my warehouse guy called it in at 8am. It happened around 5:30 yesterday afternoon!! None of the other business along this entire strip bothered to call - especially where hubby works where there are people working throughout the day & night! I am gonna bug the guys he works with now. lol
And I am gonna be sooooooo bored here until it's time to go home with no power! Think I might convince the warehouse guy to let me sneak home early. lol
Oh, and to think ... today is the first day in like a MONTH that I haven't brought a book to work with me in my purse. Ugh.
