Joaquin Phoenix (again)

*sigh* I'm seriously so over him. I used to love him and his acting and his personality in general. But now he's one of two things.... either very very sick and needs help. Or very very self-involved and obnoxious and needs to grow up and get over himself.

Either way, I've lost interest. :thumbdown:
 
I still think it's an act/secret movie.
Why else would Casey Affleck be filming him for the past 4ish months wherever he went? He is way too smart to just suddenly be this wierd.
 
Aw man...this bums me out so much..i really hope it's some kind of act b/c I always thought he was one of the more "normal" hollywood people. He was doing so well too after Walk the Line.
 
I'm still so conflicted. I don't know what to believe. I feel like if it's an act, he's gone way overboard. I can't explain the filming, but Casey Affleck also seems to be standing up for him and honestly, I don't think he's going to humiliate him by saying he is crazy you know? so I don't know!
 
The behavior sounds like a meth addict, but I suppose since River died of drug overdose, Joaquin wouldn't go that road...? I hope.
 
Even if it is an act, he's really burning his bridges with me. There's no need for him to act all kamikaze like this.
 
Yeah I'm with Mandy. I still think it's an act. You just don't go fruit-loop overnight like he seems to have done.

And Kim's right... he used to be hot. Now? not so much.
 
I think its an act and I wish they would quit. If he was really that bad, would his family, like his BIL, just keep filming it all and not force him into help?
 
I haaaaaaate that hes gone/is acting all looney tunes, I was IN love with him... Like he was on my list of potential husband possibilities, and nooooow, no way I could live with all that hair... :p..

I hadnt heard of the filming.. lets HOOOPE its an act.. ::Fingers Crossed::
 
UGH! :( I'm with you Jessica, I WAS in love with him and would have done anything to... err... for him ;) Lol but now its just WAY too much... I didn't even recognize him after he grew out his head and facial hair... It's disgusting and the way he is acting now is so dumb... If he is on something he's probably making River roll over in his grave... I think that he would know better than to jepordize his life like that since his brothers was tragically taken... But you never know with him being like this... I really hope its all a publicity stunt, but even then I don't know if he will ever been the same Joaquin :(
 
Things that celebs (any of them) do, don't surprise me anymore! It's all for publicity... mostly wanting to be in the spotlight and to stay in the spotlight...
 
I seriously hope it is an act. I thought he had great talent and was hot. Oh well, what are you gonna do, move on to the next talented hottie I guess! ;)
