resizing LO's

Hi ladies,

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been super busy with my 19 month old son and I am now 22 weeks pregnant with our second son. Life can get hectic.

I really want to start scrapping again. I have a free book that I want to make using Artscow but it is for an 8x8 and all my LOs are 12x12. Does anyone know a quick way to resize all my LOs from 12x12 to 8x8 using PSE6?

Thanks :)

Umm, sorry, I resized all mine individually. It took a long time, but the book looks great. I am pretty sure that there are some actions you can buy that can resize it for you with a click.

Can you record the steps of a resize in PSE6? I have a few actions I've created solely for resizing, but in CS2 & 4. Once that's done, I use the batch option under File--->Automate. It runs the action on all the open images in PS.

Hopefully someone with more PSE knowledge will come in with an answer for you!

Yeah, I don't think any version of PSE lets you create actions... but maybe the later ones do.

I also resize mine one by one. However, now I do it as I go so it's not so bad. Good luck!

You can process multiple "photos" with PSE (at least you can with 6 & 7). You have to open all the layouts you want to save and then it is under "file->process multiple files" You have to pick all the settings you want and where to save the newly processed files.
I rarely use it because it slowed my computer way down but it works.

Thatis waht I was thinking. But you don't needto open them all, you just need to have them all in the same file. It is your source folder. and I would store them in a new destination folder rather than losing the original.
