Speaking of Sugar Babies :)

Along with our newest little addition(congrats again Teresa!) it seems like we had a LOT of babies born this year...let's have an update thread to show them off! lol (cuz we mama's always like bragging right?)

This is Ella's 3 month pic...

The girl's got hair issues lol..it's sort of tame in this pic but it's usually sticking straight up..and she's rubbed it off in a circle all the way around her head which looks so funny. She is such a good baby...she's been sleeping through the night since about 6 weeks...she sleeps from about 6:30 pm through til 5:30 or 6 am!!
She's rolling like crazy and I'm pretty sure she's working on a tooth. She's a very happy baby but she's particular about the people in her little world lol...she'll primp up at just about anyone except me and my mom. She adores her big brother and loves to sit in her bouncy and watch him run all over the place. She is just my little joy-bug for sure!

C'mon mamas I want to see some baby pics! :)

She is such a cutie Nikki! My "baby" is going to be one on April 5th :( I still can't believe it's been a year already!

Here she is at 3 days old:

and just yesterday

Can you tell she's getting more teeth? LOL She is SUCH a good natured baby girl. Although, she is the devil. The girl is into EVERYTHING and has to find out how everything works. She's taking a couple steps at a time so I'm guessing walking is in our very near future. I'll stop...I know she wasn't technically born this year, but I've been a lil' nostalgic lately with her bday coming up! :)

Here is my little guy:

2 days old

4 weeks old

Nikki, I am jealous Ella is sleeping so well at night and so early too...mine is up every two hours to eat and it is killing me. Not to mention, he grunts all night long too. My first three kids had 4-5 hour stretches at night from the beginning, so this is something new for me (and I am not liking it)!

I owe it all to her Miracle Blanket...I'm not kidding that thing is fabulous! lol

They sure are cute, but looking at them reminds me how much WORK babies are, lol. No need to worry about baby fever here. I'll love looking at your sweet babies all day long, but I sure am glad they go home with all of you!

And congrats, Jenny! I think I must have missed your big announcement.

Kieran is now 7 months old (like his orange nose?) :p He is flying through his wardrobe faster than I can get the bins of clothes down. Jenny.. Kieran is still waking every few hours too. We can't seem to figure out WHY he is doing it. *sigh* It makes going to work in the morning pretty darn rough!! Nikki, I bought one of the miracle blankets before munchkin was born, he HATES it. Hates to be swadled, hates to have his hands restricted.. You are very lucky to have such a great sleeper!! I'm jealous :)

*sorry for the WM. I posted this on my blog yesterday and couldn't find the orig.*

Everyone's little ones are SOOO cute!

Nikki...psycho momma moment LOL...We used the miracle blanket with Madelyn, and um, we just got rid of it about 1 month ago:o She slept sooo well with it and she really wanted it when we put her to bed. She'd always bust out of it by the middle of the night but it was so nice having her sleep all night! It was so funny seeing this big "baby" all swaddled up in the blanket.

Are you sure you aren't waking each other up? I nearly went insane (I'm not kidding, they put me on anti-depressants which made me not able to sleep even more:cursing:) with my second because he was getting up every two hours even at 3 months. It wasn't until we moved him out of our room and down the hall (with a monitor turned on real low) that either of us got any sleep. He still woke up every 4 hours to nurse until 9 months, but I could deal with that (until I made him cry it out at 9 months).

Just a thought.

There is a reason we didn't want any more, Mommy NEEDS her sleep!!

I used it with DS til he was 8 or 9 mos old too...until he was strong enough to break out of it. He LOVED it..so does Ella...I wrap her up and lay her down awake and she's out in 5 minutes. Same with her naps during the day.

Mine is on the way to seven months old... which seems impossible, because I just gave birth! LOL!

She is a delightful baby and now that we are over her ear infection, she is back to being her happy, content self :) Yay! No teeth or sleeping through the night for this little one, but she *usually* only gets up once, eats, and heads right back to sleep. Hubs and I figure we can handle that! Rolling like a steamroller, but not sitting up. NO interest in baby food, but loves OUR food.

Thanks for starting this fun thread, Nikki, it is fun to see everyone's little ones!

Diego is growing way too fast for me these days LOL. He will be 4 months already too!

Here he is at 1 week old.

And then on Friday at my son's soccer practice

Aww, what beautiful babies! I'd like to say that it makes me want another, but your talk of sleep deprivation reminds me of why we are DONE!

I think you are right. I have been so close to moving him into his room and the only reason why I haven't is because I am worried about my 4 and 6 year old daughters going in there first thing in the morning and "trying to be mommy" while I am still asleep. But at this point, I think I am going to give it a try.

I do have a swaddling blanket, but it doesn't seem to make that big of a difference either way (unfortunately). Robin, you could be right too. I am going to try dressing him a little bit more warmly and see if that helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Aww everyone's babies are SO cute! My baby will be two in May and we are moving right on past the baby stage, definitely no baby fever here lol! I have two nieces and a nephew due in the coming months so I'll get my baby fix that way instead! I can hold them and snuggle them and then give them right back to their mama's lol!

What cuties! Here's one I took of Lauren tonight. She's 2.5 months old now and has transformed from Little Miss Fussy Face into a smiley, happy baby. I was fully expecting World's Worst Sleeper #3, since my boys were up every 2-3 hours until after their 1st birthdays. She totally surprised me by starting to sleep through (from 10 or 11 pm until 7 am) at 6 weeks. None of the swadling blankets did anything for my kids past the first few weeks.

great idea re: update thread - i've been trying to remember whose galleries i should be checking regularly to see babies grow :)

this is byron at 1 wk and then today at 2.5 mths - he misses a feed around midnite some nites but otherwise wakes 3-4 hrly (but still hands down, a much better sleeper than my DD was) and he's dummy/paci dependant during the day for sleep but not at nite (i have no idea why or how?) We're all about wrapping/swaddling here and wrapped my DD until she was about 18mths cos she loved it. He's had problems with heartburn and reflux and has been on meds - he's off them now for a 2 wk trial and i so hope his sleeping and eating doesnt suffer too much for it!

He is so cute Justine!

Wow the cutest babies ever are here!! Mine is still cooking but its so exciting to look at my ticker and see how close I am LOL! Actually its a little surreal too. It seems like I just found out I was pregnant!

My baby girl just turned SIX MONTHS old today!!! Can you believe it?! I can't believe how big and beautiful she's gotten. And Averi's such a nice baby as well. She's really just such a sweetheart.

I, too, am patiently waiting for some grandbabies to fawn over!

But I do have to say....you all have some absolutely cuties!!!!! Thanks for all the pics!!

I don't know how I missed this thread, but here's mine:

IsabellaGros.jpg

And just this week.

IMG_5726.jpg

She started sleeping from 11:00 to 9:00 around 4 weeks old and before that she had good 6 hour stretches. Now she's like 9pm to 8am. It's awesome and feel really blessed. I want one of those Miracle Blankets! How have I never seen them before? With JT I just used random jersey knit blankets and he was swaddled until around 8 months. I found the Swaddle Sleep Sacks with Isabella and I thought they were the shiz, but those Miracle Blankets are super shiz! I gotta find me one:)

OMG such sweet lil precious babies, I love when they hit all of their milestones such sweet memories ;)

Here is Emily at 2 day old
emily4x6-1.jpg

and yesterday at 4 weeks old
emily-4weeks.jpg

I can't believe she is a month old already, where did it go? We're still working on the night thing, some nights she does good and others not so good. She is doing much better after changing formula, but still gets really gassy. And she still doesn't like to be on her own very long as far as entertaining herself, I'm hoping that will change :)

They're all so beautiful!

I'd like to say that "I think my uterus just twitched" too...

But I can't! LOL And I'm happy about that. I was so afraid that after DH went for his snippity-snip this past November that I would have regrets. But none so far, so we're good!

I do love seeing all the adorable babies though!! Keep posting ladies!!
