Okie doke...talked to the pathology nurse

and the doctor wants to see me on Friday regarding my biopsy results. I have had cervical biopsies come back okay before, and this isn't how they treat the okay ones. She wouldn't answer my questions, she said she wasn't qualified to do so, that I'd have to talk to the doctor about it, but she did say that as far as she knew, a second biopsy was all that was ordered. :unsure:
 
Ohhh Lena lots of {{{hugs}}} girl, I can imagine how scary/nerve wracking the long wait til Friday will be :( I'll definitely send lots of prayers & positive thoughts your way this week!
 
Oh man, how stressful for you to have to wait that long to find out what it is! But if you look at it on the plus, if it were really serious they would have you there today right? I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers Lena! Hugs!
 
hugs...Just think positive that it's great that whatever it is..is being caught NOW before it turns into more.

Hugs Lena! Hopefully they are just being extra precautionary (is that even a word???... well, you know what I mean...) I agree with Pam - it seems like if it were really serious they'd have you back sooner...
 
{{hugs}} I'll be watching for an update from you on Friday...and here's hoping it is just to explain why the second biopsy...maybe just a cautious thing...just like on my mammogram last year.
 
oh man, i know how stressful this has to be on you. I'm so sorry. Keeping prayers and positive thoughts flowing for ya. (((((HUGS)))))
 
oh, I hate that you have to wait til Friday -- that must seem like forever. My sister had an abnormal biopsy and ended up with some abnormal cell growth that they (I think) froze off or something like that. She had to have paps more often after that, but it was a pretty early/minor thing. so, not all abnormal biopsies are too worrisome -- hopefully that's the case with yours!

This is exactly what I had! Lena, hang in there til Friday that will seem SO long I'm sure! ((hugs))...perhaps some retail therapy is in order while you're waiting?
 
I have been there, done that - twice! I've had two out-patient surgeries as a result. Think positive thoughts and I will say a prayer, but if things are still abnormal, let me know and I can give you some first-hand knowledge and advice. Everything will be fine in the end, though. Trust me.
