I need some help. Normally I'd ask a question like this at DST, but since its down, I'm asking here.
I am scrapping a LO of my great-uncle in his (I belive) Air Force Uniform. He was also in the Navy, the PeaceCorps, and worked the majority of his career with the CIA in the Pentagon. I'm looking for something written that is fairly long (like a poem or something) that is *not* depressing or morbid. He's still very much alive at 70 years old and it feels wrong to put that photo with a morbid poem about dying soldiers.
So, any ideas? Any places to looK?
 
What kind of passage are you looking for?

Perhaps typing out the National Anthem or the Air Force song...

Or do you want something more along the lines of a poem about what it means to serve?
 
How about the Airman's Creed...

Jenny, if you've got the picture I can tell you if its an Air Force Uniform or not.

If the stripes look similar to mine then its Air Force. LOL! The stripes are about the only thing that has stayed the same in 60 years.

The Airmen's creed looks good. I think it's a little cheesy myself. But that's probably because I'm in.

It doesn't appear to be an Airforce uniform. Its a really old photo so you take a look and tell me what you think...
