How warm is it there in Texas? It's been mid to high 70's depending on what little town you are in and around in this week. Went from 78 by the bowling alley (still think the temperature was wacky) to 65 by the house...only about 7 miles away.

Show me pictures! I'm trying to talk the kids into going to Sea World in TX!

We went to SeaWorld in San Antonio in July last year. It really wasn't too too bad! Spent a lot of time over by the big splashing ride (I can't remember the name of it right now)! The line was like 1 1/2 hours long, so we just stayed at the bottom and got splashed by all the boats coming down. Much better (and a lot cooler) than standing in line all that time :D

We have done Disney, Sea World, Universal and Busch Gardens in spring and summertime in Florida so I know how you feel. I do believe that Disney was probably the worst of the four though. And we always did it on weekends because thats the only days my husband had off.

I don't think mine will be able to go on most of the rides. We will have 2 days there. The first day will be the attractions and rides and the second we will spend on anything we missed and the water park section.

I am just not looking forward to the heat but it was the only time we could schedule it.

Thanks for the medal girls! :) It was 82 in San Antonio, which really isn't bad at all considering how hot it can get in Texas, but I was unprepared (not in clothes I wanted to be wet in if you get the idea) and there no shade to be had. The kids were ok, but I also wasn't thinking it's spring break and therefore VERY crowded.

The kids sometimes were ok with getting wet, other times not. :) If DH would have been there though he would have died (actually he would have moaned and groaned and then died)! We waited for an hour in line to eat- not fun for a 3 and 5 year old.

Words of wisdom- pack a picnic, then head to the car to eat and come back in. We got a fun pass- so we paid for a day and get to come back whenever we want through December. Since mom lives in SA, we'll use it a lot!

The silver lining- I left the kids at grandmas and came back home. DH and I are kid-free until Sunday- woot!

We spent 2 days at SeaWorld a few weeks ago - we'd never been there before, but it was beautiful! The first day, there were 13 of us - 7 kids all under the age of 7yrs. and 6 adults. The 2nd day, just the 5 of us went (my family).

Oh yeah- the worst part- I ran off without my camera and ended up getting a disposable. I'll scan them in when I get them, but their website shows LOTS of good pics and an interactive map so you can plan. I think some of the adventure camps would be awesome!

ackkkkkkkk I'm choking...you forgot your camera?! I about freaked last week when I forgot it for our weekly bowling league...my son got called to the front to receive a medal for his "series" and I didn't have my camera! I'd have really freaked if I forgot it there. Though hugs!! Major bummer. Some places will just put your pics on a CD instead of printing them...then they are ready to use.

No worries- the quality of pics is my concern- but DSH got me a scanner for Christmas so I'll have something to scan anyway! :)
