Why can't I find a twin red & white striped bedskirt or a twin red & white gingham bedskirt or a twin red & white polka dot bedksirt for DS' bed that doesn't cost a fortune.

do you know how to sew? If you do you could probably get some inexpensive fabric from Jo-Annes and make one yourself or maybe find someone who could make it for you

I have some sewing skills, but not good enough for a tailored item like this. I do have a friend that sews that might help me out. Thanks for the suggestion.
 
I found gingham bedding after doing a web search at Pottery Barn for kids. It looks like it is supposed to come in twin because it lists the size for twins but I cant see where to order size at. Price is listed from 14.99 to 49.00

they are sold out in the red gingham, trust me I've been looking for about 2 months now. :(

I already have a red & white gingham bedskirt for one of my boys and since they share a room I need it to be contrasting or similar. So a large check or a polka dots or small checks but it has to be red & white to match everything else in the room! Thanks for your help!

Would you mind sharing the link about the Pottery Barn bedskirt available in June???
 
sure...here is the link I found. It lists on product details the dimensions for the twin size and it has red listed (although the picture does show pink or at least it appears pink to me LOL) When you click on choose your color it has red listed and when you click on red it comes up as 49.00 but it doesnt give you the option to choose the size on this page. Maybe because it is not available yet? There is a phone number listed though that you could probably call and ask about it and here is the link I found.

ETA I think this might be for cribs??? It came up under twin the search I did. So maybe it isnt for twins afterall? I would still call the 1800 number and see if they do offer anything like what you are looking for though.
