Mmmm, I just put together cabbage rolls and they are in the crock pot cooking for the day! I hope they turn out... I've never made them before. Dh likes them, so I finally decided to give them a try. I know I'll be picking off the cabbage, lol!

So whats on the menu for the rest of you (I need more ideas for the rest of the week, lol!)?

Brinner :D

I think last time this question was asked we were having the same thing!!! What can I say...I don't feel like coking and everyone loves breakfast foods at our house and DH loves cooking breakfast...so there ya have it!!! :D

Haha! I love it... I'm gonna call it that! We had brinner last night... a BLT for me, poached egg, cheese & ham for the baby & my DH had a BECLT (bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato). It was super yummy! The night before, I made waffles for my baby & me... I loooove breakfast for dinner!

Don't know, actually. We have tae kwon do at 5:30 now, and it's right at dinner - and I usually go and work out there while the boys are in class. So eating beforehand is not something any of us want to do, and eating at 7:30 or 8 is not something we want to do, either. So I have to find a good balance of crockpot meals/sandwiches, etc. and I'm not in that 'zone' yet LOL

So..all that to say - I haven't a clue, yet.

oh jae!! that sounds divine!! i'm eating out for dinner (without the kiddos...woot!!). going to denver for my cousins birthday dinner!! holler!!

Chuck Wagon Tortillas. The number-one favorite meal in my house. Its soooo yummy and super-easy to make.

1 lb ground beef
2 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 T chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can corn (drained)
1 can baked beans
2 T chopped green chiles (I use the whole little can)
1/2 c BBQ sauce
4 large flour tortillas
mexican or fiesta cheese, shredded

brown beef in skillet w/ garlic. Add chili powder and cumin and cook 2-3 more minutes until meat is cooked. Add tomatoes, corn, beans, green chiles, and bbq sauce and heat through.
Empty mixture into bowl and wipe skillet w/ paper towel. On low heat layer tortilla, 1/4 mixture, and cheese. Repeat three times ending w/ cheese over mixture. Cover until warmed through.

Cut into wedges and serve w/ sour cream.

YUM!! And seriously so quick. Like, less than 15 mins from start to finish.

Chicken breasts baked in a coating of mayo then a mixture of flour and paprika, baby spinach salad with bacon, mushrooms and sliced hard boiled eggs, and rice.

havent thought that far ahead...probably chicken soup/sandwiches or some chicken and mashed potatoes. Maybe some country fried steaks

Leftovers LOL. I made beef stroganoff in the crock pot yesterday and that made more than enough for one meal.
Here's the recipe I used (with the modifications in the 2nd review)
I think tomorrow will be homemade lasanga...I don't eat cheese but DH can eat off of it for several days anyway.

Hubby should be glad I actually made something DIFFERENT...I got tired of him wanting something 'different', but giving no input of actual ideas or doing any of the cooking.

Leftover pizza for me and JP, sandwiches for Andrew and something gluten-free for Devin. It's FFY night here.

I've been baking all day, and I have a Bible Study tonight so it's canned soup for us tonight!! I've made a potroast, chicken cordon bleu and chicken fettichini primavera the last three nights so I'm due for an evening off. :)

I am gonna roast some chicken legs. They were on sale and it sounded good. i will probably make mashed potatoes and some aspargus to go with it.

Sounds awesome! I'll have to try this.
