We all have great plans for today - what should be done, what needs to be done, etc.

But what are you really doing today?


I have laundry up to my eyeballs, BUT...
I've been spending WAY too much time with my school-aged kids this winter (due to weather, buses not running, sickies, etc.) and today is the first day this week that both of them are gone to school. So it's just me and Ethan (3yrs.) hanging out today.

I'm playing in the digi-world today! :thumbup:
 
Today is school-lite for us, so we're doing catch up, a science activity and lots of educational games that don't take my full attention :) Then we're off to library as our Friday afternoon treat!
 
I'm finishing off season 4 of Dawson's Creek and cleaning today. I scrapped a page earlier and I may scrap some more later but I need to get my living room and bedroom done before I sit down to scrap again!
 
Today is a snowday here in Colorado, as well as my first-borns SEVENTH birthday! So we're just chillin' out, playing games and building forts. I have a lot of housework to do before his party on Sunday. And I'm going to *try* to get out to wal-mart to get stuff to make his cake. We'll see about that. Our street is pretty bad and I don't want to get stuck.
 
DH took the day off (NASTY weather here today) and I'm still sick..so I'm just gonna be lazy, scrap, browse, and let him watch the kids today haha
 
Well, since we are now expecting 6-8 inches of snow this evening and overnight, and we are running low on groceries, Rachel and I are headed to Walmart and Sams to get our shopping done.
Other than that...MAYBE do some scrapping, although I think I left my mojo somewhere, because I can't find it!
 
I worked 10 hours and now I'm still getting calls from the office. I have some office activity to do tomorrow morning and again on Sunday. Whew! Work just doesn't stop for me.
 
We're battling massive flooding here and I was scheduled to volunteer at the evacuation call center since my workplace is closed. My daycare closed though so I'm home with my kids instead. I'm glued to the TV and internet to hear more news about evacuations.

It's a very scary situation here right now. People are losing their homes, and hospitals, nursing homes, and residences are being evacuated. I think we're okay with where we're at, but it's still heart-breaking to watch.

I desperately want to get out and help, but I have no childcare, and so many roads are closed that I wouldn't know how to get anywhere.
 
heading to work for my usual 3 hours, then gonna come home & have lunch. Might take the kids to the park this afternoon after Des goes to work. And other than that, not a whole heck of a lot. I should do laundry, but I can do it tomorrow on my day off since Des gets to work OT tomorrow.
 
LOLZ... good question... I need to get into the salon to get the hair hack job I got yesterday fixed. Otherwise I'll probably do a little laundry and call it a day. :D
 
my daughter (3) is going out with grandma and her cousin to buy easter dresses.... and just in general be spoiled by grandma. So I'm home with the little one (16 months), but because his ear infection is no better after 5 days on meds, I have to take him back to the doctor instead of relaxing today and getting caught up on some freelance projects and crafty stuff. *sigh*
 
I'll be sitting/laying with a heating pad/ice on my back most of the day today. I hurt it bad this time.... :(

I am going to try to get a couple loads of laundry done too. It is so windy here today so I won't be spending much time outside.
 
No school today...I need to be decluttering the house for a showing on Wednesday and folding laundry, but right now I'm doing a layout and reading FMyLife.com. LOL
 
Taking a tiny coffee break right now while Kassi studies for her Math test. Then after we finish school I gotta wash clothes, and wash dishes. The floors need to be done but I'm not doing it because it is supposed to rain again. Do some work for my dad and that's it. Not a lot on the to do list today thank goodness. Tonight I will scrap!
 
It's crazy weather here today, though the worst is over. Anyway, I kept the kids home. They're playing still in pj's, Sadie's bathed and dressed but napping, I'm on the computer still in my pj's. I guess I'll shower and get dressed and we'll probably run a few errands, assuming the weather stays okay. I also have some laundry to do today, and probably should clean a little (or a lot). :)
 
I'm SUPPOSED to be cleaning and doing laundry today, but so far I've only gotten as far as going to the store to pick up Scrubbing Bubbles & laundry soap. I am SO lazy today. UGH!
 
Going to look at wedding bands in a little bit with Jordan, then Pizza Hut for lunch :)
We have our Pre-Cana homework to do tonight, and I have a few recycled notepads I need to finish for some girlfriends for tomorrow.

I've been really productive at work this week, which is draining, lol. I'm very thankful it's friday.
 
I was doing a bit of work, but on skating days, I can't seem to focus. I have skating shortly for a couple of hours, then I'll be home to work a bit, then veg for the rest of the night.
 
Pretty much the same thing I've been doing since Tuesday. I'm sitting on the couch with my knee up and scrapping and surfing.
 
I found a old boyfriend from highschool on myspace. he's a musician now in Las Vegas and he showed me this site where he has all his music so I've been listening to that all morning. What i SHOULD be doing is getting my typing (work) done so I can clean and be ready when my friend comes over this afternoon to scrap. What I AM going to do is get dressed, go help my sister fix her computer, drop my vacuum off to get fixed and then probably go straight to the scrapping ! Slacker Fridays is what they are affectionately referred to :)
 
Snow day here today too. They're predicting 12-15 inches so we won't be going anywhere. I already cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom and got some laundry going. That'll probably be it for the day. lol I bought Twilight yesterday while I was at Wal-Mart, so I'm planning to watch that this afternoon while the little one is down for a nap and the older kids are involved in their own movie in their room. ;) I'm hoping to get some scrapping done today too . . .
 
Well, Aunt Flo has kicked me HARD in the guts and I am in PAIN!! So, I'm not doing one blasted thing! LOL
 
I am at work... I should be looking for something to do but I worked my arse off yesterday and didnt even get a lunch break.
 
I should be doing laundry... I might get at that yet, lol.

I am going to be making from scratch mac&cheese (yet ANOTHER recipe to try... I WILL find a good one!!), and then I have to make supper for tonight (super easy - chicken marinated in italian dressing & parm, brown rice & green beans w/ almonds... YUM!).

If the day warms up, I might go for a walk to the store, but its looking cloudy and yucky out there!
 
I'm pretty much going according to plan. Went to the gym & the grocery store, am getting ready to upload some layouts, then I have some housecleaning to do & then some blog reading.

I have no idea what to do about dinner though. DH may or may not be working late & won't know until the last possible second.
 
Well I had plans this morning to return books to the library and then go to Walmart to pick up a few things before the weather got bad tonight. But while I was in the shower Kyle took his bottle of body wash into the living room and squeezed it out all over the carpet and TV stand :cursing: so I had to try to clean that up instead!! Then it was time to pick Kelsie up from preK so I was going to do my errands then but it started sleeting really hard just as we were leaving the house! It was freezing as it hit the windows and the roads were getting slick so we just picked her up and came right back home, so now we're stuck here until Kaylie gets out of school. There ain't no way I'm getting out in this yucky stuff now and it's supposed to start snowing sometime tonight :(
 
I went shopping at Target, and I'm going to take the kids to a huge playdate in the park with about 30 other mommies of toddlers and babies from my Meetup.com group!!

And then I'm going to try and bust out my SUTUCS page, or I'll cry.

3 loads of laundry, packing for the weekend
packing up some scrappy stuff i need to dorp off at a friend's on the way to the hotel
doing a quick clean of the whole house so it's nice and clean when I get home

I've already gone shopping for a shirt and tie for DH
getting the guest room ready for the critter sitter
pressure washed the back yard
cleaned the rabbit cage
cleaned the dogs area'
went and picked up DH's new glasses
sent a crapload of photos to BIL for his last minute project for, yep, again, TOMORROW

I know there is more, but my list is upstairs and I'm not going to get it just yet...:D
 
I have some things that I have to make, like yesterday. I'm behind on my projects.

I have two features coming up this summer and I need to get those projects started.

I have MAJOR scrappin' to do or else my wonderful designers are going to kick me in the you know what!!!

I am, however, out of my FUNK!!!! Woohoo!!!! My office is nearly finished. The counter top went in on Wednesday and I'm almost done painting. Half of it is painted. I also need to run to the market before the Chicken and kids starve.

(Chicken is our cat, btw. It's just more fun to try to confuse people.)

I MUST do laundry some time today and I'd like to run to Michael's. BTW- I'm still in my jammies....so maybe NONE of this is really going to happen!!! LOL
 
I went grocery shopping this morning, came home, put all that crap away, put the girls down for a nap, ate some lunch, and here I sit. I SHOULD be doing laundry but I think I'm going to park my fat arse right here for the rest of the afternoon.
 
Nothing. I took the day off. Wait- I did feed my child. :thumbup:

But we have a busy weekend.
