I just wrapped up reading Eclipse (remember I saw the movie, read Twilight, started New Moon, got sad so read Breaking Dawn, went back to New Moon...finished it and and then read Eclipse).

I am buying the Twilight DVD now too, just so I can still hold onto it all. I am so sucked it!!! I am kinda sad I am done reading :(. Besides impatiently waiting for New Moon to come out in Nov, what now????

You need to read the first twelve chapters of Midnight Sun that are posted on Stephenie Meyer's web site!! It is Twilight retold in Edward's perspective & it is SO SO good! Unfortunately it stops right before the part where they are in the meadow together. It was leaked on the internet after Breaking Dawn came out so she went ahead and posted it on her site, she says she won't ever finish it now but hopefully she will eventually go ahead and do it!

LOL thought the same too

Read midnight sun and wait patiently for new moon

Which is hard I know

Yeah, I read Midnight Sun before I read Eclipse!

ETA...and like the rest of you I was so frustrated that it ended BEFORE the meadow scene....I want more!

I am half way through her book The Host.
It is ok. Nothing like twilight and very scifi-ish.

I guess there isn't much to be done rather than patiently waiting for the next movie LOL. I've watched the movie a bunch of times since it came out. I occasionally go back and reead my favorite parts of the books when I need a fix. You could check out fanfiction written for twilight while it's mostly not good it can be entertaining LOL!

You could reread it all again. I have read the series twice now and am itching to read it again.

Not Twilight of course but my daughter Loved Blood and Chocolate. I think it is vampires in that. I dont normally get into those types of books but after seeing the movie I had to know the rest of the story!! My daughter was getting annoyed because I kept asking a million questions about what happened next and why did he say this and what are they doing. She finally just said read the books

If you're staying along the vampire genre- I'm going to read the Sookie Stackhouse series- True Blood is based on these. HTH!

I reread my favorite parts again and again and again....I enjoyed the HOST, read it while I was waiting for Breaking Dawn to be released. It's totally different but once I got started reading it, I got sucked into it.

I also read the Sookie Stackhouse books too. They're not bad once you get into them.

I tried reading The Host right after I finished the Twilight books and couldn't get into it at all, I ended up just returning it to the library without finishing it. I plan on trying to read it again sometime.

If you want more vampire series that are good I've read a ton of them!

these are young adult like Twilight -
House of Night series by PC Cast (Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed, Hunted)
Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of Glass)
Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray (Sweet Far thing, Rebel Angels, A Great & Terrible Beauty)

these are adult fiction -
Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward
Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands
Twilight/Wings in the Night series by Maggie Shayne

I'm taking the advantage of not to be an English speaker and I'm reading all the books "in English" now. I'm on Twilight itself. This will help me a lot with my English, plus... well, it's Twilight series. 'Nuff said. LOL
Sure, it's melting my brains: the language is too difficult to me, so I read with an English dictionary with me.
I can't give up Twilight... ;)
