We rented this movie today and I wasn't sure I would like it because I had heard it got bad reveiws but it was surprisingly pretty good. The end made me a little sad. You should rent it if you have not seen it yet. I have to say the people who said it was a bad movie were way off on this one. It was really funny and sweet

Ohhh I wish I had known that too!! Once it got towards the end I knew it was going to happen and tried not to cry but my husband started laughing and I couldnt help it. I hate watching these kinda movies with him because he seems to think it is funny when I cry at movies.
It does look good but I know what happens in the end and I can't handle that.. :( lol

We went to the movie theater to see it when it came out and we were happy with the movie, but we had no idea that the ending was so sad.

tried to rent it lastnight but Hastings had a power outage so they closed the store before actual closing...umpf. I'll have to wait til next week since we are busy with a bday party here this weekend.

cute movie! it made me cry too... reminded me too much of my mutt I have at home.

I have a lab/husky mix named Marcie, and she is just like Marley.

I have it on my netflix but I want to read the book first since I know the book will be better. I know I should do it the other way around but I love to compare them.

I so loved this movie my ds (6yr old cried as did I) but I liked the ending in a good way b/c they did keep it real with what eventually would happen in real life, KWIM I say this b/c my ds wants a dog and I think he realized wow, this happens.. :(

I'm actually reading the book right now. I'm about 3/4th done with it. I have the movie on my netflix list but I'm waiting to get it till I'm done with the book.

bawled my eyes out.. actually just finished the movie and i'm still crying as i type this. i am such a sap :)

Trev rented this for me last night while he was in town...the kids want to see it with me. I already know the ending, so is it really appropriate for a 5 yo and a 6 yo to watch?

ummm I would not say it is inappropriate. It doesnt have violence or so much inappropriate language that I really noticed and it is a funny movie for most of the movie. The ending though is very sad and if your kids have not experienced death or are really sensitive then it might be something they would not want to see. My kids are older so it didnt really bother them...well my 17 year old daughter was crying also. She thought it was a good movie though. It would really I think just depend on how sensitive your kids are

We just rented this last night and watched it early this morning. I bawled like a baby at the end. :( But I'm glad I watched it!
