I was just going through all my shutterfly albums, sorting them and such and I thought, oh, let me count how many pages since they give me the number right there.

1667 Layouts Printed since August 2006 when I started. With the expection of January-March 2009, I've got it in my shopping cart at VioVio, I just am waiting for extra cash to print.

That's crazy!

WOW!!!That's an insane amount of layouts! I've only printed 2 calendars, 2 albums for hybrid projects and now two pre-made QP type albums from shutterfly. I need to get to work!

Do you have any tips for getting layouts ready for printing in books? Are all of your layouts in photobooks or individual prints too. Did you like viovio? :) Lots of questions for you! :)

My layouts from May 2005-April 2006 are 12x12 prints, I was printing through Mpix or Whcc.com. They cost way too much. Then I worked for a guy who's wife is Anna Aspnes, I'm not sure if you know who she is or not, anywho, she's was working for shutterfly and I saw her books and was hooked.

So all my books are shutterfly May 2006 - December 2007 are 12x12 shutterfly books, I switched to 8x8's in 2008 since I knew I'd be scrapping more after Cooper was born.

I just printed a quickbook through viovio and I was happy with it, I think the only think I didn't love was the quality of the cover, but other than that it was great, so starting with my January-March 2009 book I'll switch to printing with them. I think my book is 83 pages and its only going to be $46 with shipping. That's half what I would pay with shutterfly.

dang! i'm so jealous!! i wish i could just SCRAP! I don't even want to count my completed layouts because its a sad number.

CONGRATS! What an awesome thing for your children, family and yourself to have those!

What's the timeframe that you put into your books? I normally only have done books for shorter events that I know are "done" and not so much for my yearly family books - those I print 8x8 through Costco. And they end up being FAT books LOL.

My baby was born in Nov 2008 and there's no way I can save those layouts for a whole year for his "my first year" book so I've already printed them. For this past year I've been printing every 1-3 months. I want to do it monthly though, once my books and layouts are all organized though.

I don't scrap chronologically. I'm guessing you are a chronological scrapper so your books are in order? Or do you just put the finished layouts in a photobook regardless of the date of the photos in the layouts. Like I might have done some heritage pages from years ago, some photos from 2 years ago and then I might scrap a page with a photo I took the same day. I'm trying not to be OCD about it, but I've enjoyed printing individual pages because I can move them around in my albums.

I print when I have enough to make a decent size book, I think they're usually about 65 pages, or more. I like to do 2 months in a book at a time if I can, some books I have just one month in. Now that I've switched to viovio, their books go up to 160 pages I think, I know I'll probably do 3 months in every book.

I'm a chronological, even when I did small scrapbooks with printed pictures, I always went in order. I'm not saying I always scrap completely in order, but I print in order. I jump around a lot, but when I do print, its in order.

You can look at all my shutterfly albums, well not all 2008-2009 on my blog.

I love how you group your pages....one side compliments the other even if they aren't the same thing!! Very cool!!!

I loved looking at your books..tell me how you organize your pages in your computer? and do you always scrap a 2 page LO or do you just matching up like colored LO's so they are opposite of each other?

Thanks so much for the link to the books (they are stunning!) and for the additional information. I'm really going to have to think about the best way to print out photobooks as it is much more economical.

I always try to scrap 2 pages layouts, but sometimes if I don't have the pictures for a 2 page LO, I just make sure that the pictures I do scrap use the same kit. I name all my pages by date, so if it was a April 4th picture I name it 4Apr1, the one is for the first page. Does that make sense?

You should totally check out viovio.com, I just put my Jan-Mar 09 book in my cart, 83 pages and its only $45. That's like half what I would pay at shutterfly.
