So whatcha having? Turkey? Ham?

Turkey, Stuffing and the works here! Can't wait for some devilled eggs!

My mom's making the main dishes...ham, chicken and dumplins, dressing, veggies from last summer's garden. I'm doing the sweet potato casserole and a strawberry cake. My sisters are supposed to bring something but they usually forget...they didn't get the "homemaker" gene like I did lol.

Honeybaked ham, scalloped potatoes with poblano peppers, coffee cake, fruit...

Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

We haven't decided - it will just be us, no extended family. My kids don't like ham, so maybe we will fry a turkey breast. Mmmmm...

And I'm making a chocolate bunny cake for dessert.

No idea here.
We've got an early church service, followed by an egg hunt here at home, and want to take Rachel to see Monsters vs. Aliens in the afternoon, so maybe we'll just go out for lunch. Or so I hope anyway LOL.

Our normal Easter menu. :)

Ham, rice casserole, potato salad, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, rolls...hmm...think I'm leaving something out. Then finishing up with an amazing lemon pound cake. *drool*

We always have ham with homemade au gratin potatoes, green beans, applesauce, yeast rolls and I always make a four layered chocolate cake that my family loves.

A few families from church are getting together. We're having ham, potato salad, devilled eggs, corn casserole, green beans, rolls, a couple diff desserts and I think that's it..lol

Easter is a whole big thing now for some reason. The past 2 years Jordan's family has come into town, so this year my family is coming down as well. Which naturally has me stressed beyond belief to get teh house ready.

Friday night we eat in and do a big seafood extravaganza. Shrimp with garlic pasta, crab cakes, a white fish, scallops, the works.
Saturday night we go out to eat to our favorite place down in Little Italy.
Sunday we do early morning church and then head down to the Inner Harbor and have Cheesecake Factory for brunch :)

Thankfully, it means I cook VERY little, lol.

We do brunch and dinner.

Brunch is:
Bacon Rings (eggs with a cooked piece of bacon in a muffin cup)
Blueberry French Toast Bake
Sausage
Fruit Salad
Mimosas for the adults, juice for the kids

Dinner is:
Ham
German Potato Salad
Three Bean Salad
Rolls
Deviled Eggs
Green Salad
and some gross horseradish jello stuff that DH's family loves

I can't wait!!! :)

I think since its just the four of us I'm going to do Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Deviled Eggs, Rolls, Corn on the Cob and Chocolate Pecan Pie.

We're flying to my parents' on Easter sunday, arriving at the house just in time for dinner. :) Mom is making the same meal she has made every Easter since she took over from my grandma - ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, kluski noodles and salad. It's practically the only time of the year we get a ham. There will probably be some pumpkin pie too.

By the end of the week we'll have bean soup from the ham bone.

We'll have Easter dinner at my aunt's (my dad's side of the family) on Saturday followed by a egg hunt. We'll have a ham, turkey & dressing, chicken and dumplings, green salad, green beans, rolls or biscuits, deviled eggs, pound cake, peach cobbler, old fashioned chocolate cake.

We'll be having dinner at mom's on Sunday. Another ham, mashed potatoes, green salad . . . I'm sure I'll make deviled eggs for the meal at her house, too, and other than that, I'm not sure what else my mom will make.

We usually do glazed ham and scalloped potatoes. We're contemplating turkey this year though, so we haven't decided! It's just the 5 of us, and Rae doesn't eat meat so we don't need anything big!

This is what I have been thinking so far... I'm serving 12!

*Deviled Eggs
*Spinach Salad with bacon bits and red wine vinegarette
*BBQ Rotissery Chickens stuffed with lemons, basil and garlic
*Garlic Roasted Spring Vegetables (asparagus, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, artichoke hearts, brussel sprouts, red pepper, and LOTS of garlic)
* Zweibak (traditional family dinner rolls)

*Paska and Lemon Mousse for dessert

I think I might need to make another salad, but I'm not sure. I love reading all of your menus though!

MIL is making her regular Easter meal. I should volunteer to bring something over... :)

Um, I think it's ham, cheesy or mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, vegetable, and dinner rolls. She'll have at least sugar creme pie if not some other kind of pie and/or fruit salad.

Ok. So I am the oddball.

We are having fajitas, spanish rice, charro beans, guacamole, homemade salsa and queso.

I haven't decided on dessert yet. It might be lemon bars. Or chocolate cake.

lamb with mint jelly, some potatoes and other sides. I think I'll do a big apple pie for dessert.

My mom will be making the dinner for Easter (I made dinner for all of us this past Sunday). She gave us a choice of lamb or ham and DH chose ham (I was rooting for lamb). So it will be ham and whatever else, probably a salad, too. For dessert, I will be making cheesecake using the chocolate-kahlua biscotti my mom messed up as the crust.

I am so fortunate to have a hubby who likes to cook....He is making ham, candied sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cole slaw, macaroni salad, mashed potatoes, rolls, deviled eggs and my daughter is making ambrosia....I plan to bake some carmel apple upside down biscuits for dessert....I'm not a big meat eater, but love all the side dishes....I can hardly wait for them....Yum!

well, it's just me and my kiddos and hubby this year. :( I don't know what to make.....there are really only going to be two of us that really eat (the hubby and I, lol!).....a small ham for sure....other than that, I am out...lol
