So i wanna plan a trip for our 10th anniversary. It's 3.5 years away but that will give us time to figure out
  • where
  • how long
  • how much
  • save

I have a few ideas

  • Tropical (hawaii, caribbean)
  • cruise
  • Paris
  • Spain

So here is where you lovely ladies come in.

Where would you go? what would you do? WITHIN reason of course... and I have no idea the budget.

DH and I never had a honeymoon, so I'd love to go to the Dominican Republic. I've wanted to go there since before it became a somewhat popular destination...now my oldest sister lives there (she married a local and they've got the most adorable baby girl).

Mostly I'd want to chill at the beach and at the hotel...drinking slushy drinks and just having a good time. Some shopping, maybe a couple little "adventure" things...but it would be serious nice to have a little downtime.

All-inclusive trips to the DR and Puerto Rico are awesome. I've heard nothing but good things about those.

Hawaii is amazing. Stay on Kuaui and then take a flight back to the main island and do Pearl Harbor and Waikiki.

Mexico and Cabo San Lucas are fantastical. I really want to get back there someday (prob for a big anniversary like yours we'd try for).

We're doing Europe for our honeymoon this fall. I'm SO excited. We're doing Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, and Milan for sure.

We also really want to go to New Zealand and Australia. That's a big trip and pretty expensive, so we won't be doing that for a long while.

Ohhh I know!! I would go up to the mountains and rent a cabin for a week or two!! After living in Florida for so long Id love to go somewhere really different. If money was not a huge object though I would LOVVVVVEEE to go to Australia. Problem with that is I WILL NOT fly so it would be kinda hard to get there LOL

I've heard Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Aruba can't be beat...my fav place that we've been was Sedona, Arizona and The Grand Canyon....aaaahhhhh

Once (maybe "if", haha I hate my situation right now) we get married, I want to honeymoon in Prague. There's just something about old European architecture that really draws me.

ohh sounds like tons of fun!!

I think a traveling trip would be fun. Like I would love to take some time and go through Europe. :)

The sound of the Caribbean would be fun too. I went to the Bahamas once... nice, but Nassau wasn't really honeymoon friendly.

I would choose Europe if I could. That would be fantastic IMO. A cruise would be awesome or an all inclusive resort some place warm.

DH & I celebrated 10 years this past Nov and we took a trip away ALONE to Oklahoma City and did a hot air balloon ride. I want to do a BIG trip for our 25th anniversary. We just wanted to do something fun and memorable to mark the big day and it was so much fun! We really had a great time and it was the first time we'd be alone together for a few days since our twin boys were born in 2004, so for us it was just nice to be alone :)!!!!!

Isle Capri and Lake Como... That's our plan! Brian has been to Europe but I haven't, and have always wanted to see Italy. We have planned to go at least twice, but ended up staying home and using the $ to pay stuff off (not fun, but good). Now I'm finally at a point where the kids are old enough to stay with granparents for awhile without me feeling guilty!

My little sister went on a solo trip to Switzerland and LOVED it, I've never skiied nor do I really enjoy snow, but she still said I would have liked it (I love the mountains!)

I'd go to one of the Sandals Beach Resorts, my husband I keep talking about trying to go to one.
