Anyone here not nest LOL

Okay so I am like 37 and a half weeks...yes I am counting the days at this point and I have NO urge to clean. I had it with all 3 of my other kids. I just am lazy lazy lazy. I do my general tidying up but I mean when I was pregnant before I was on top of things. I am chalking it up to my discovering digital scrapbooking last year and this being the first out of the four to be really hookd on the computer with lol! I am kinda worried it wont come on though, there is a lot a lot to be done around here lol! Anyone else not have the urge? I hear some get it RIGHT before labor. Dude right before labor I just want to sleep LOL

I had it much earlier in the pregnancy. I was way too tired at the end of my pregs to be running around cleaning! It was really bad with number 3. Fortunately he was an easy baby and I got to some of that stuff after he was born.

I'm 28 weeks along and feel that way too!! lol! With my first son, I'd do more cleaning and organizing- I still paper scrapped then and wanted to start his album, but since there was only so much I could do before he was born, I spent more time cleaning.... Now that I have 1 and 1 on the way, I have more to scrap about (I'm a family-theme-scrapper) so I'm totally unmotivated to do anything around the house!
Their daddy is another story though! As I'm typing, he's in the kitchen installing our new over-the-range microwave that's been waiting for about 8 months to be installed. Next week, he and his father are starting on our new downstairs bathroom!!!! :) Woohoo! He's the motivated one! I just sit on my butt with my computer while he rubs my feet! Ha!!! :p

I never really did either... which was too bad because I was really looking forward to having a really clean house, lol!!!

I did with my first...with my 2nd..no way...I was too fat and miserable lol..all I wanted to do was get her out! lol

I never nested with my first. I kept hoping the inspiration to clean and decorate would kick in, but it never did.

I didn't have any with my second until the day before my c-section. I had no intention of painting her nursery and then suddenly the day before I went to the hospital I decided her room had to be pink. So I spent the day painting her room, lol. My poor husband was sure I had lost it.

my nesting was different with each kid!!! With my first I remember it was the "traditional" nesting...I remember being up at like 3 AM 2 days before going into labor scrubbing my cupboards and vacuuming lady bugs out of the windowsills :D

With my last it was cooking...2 days before I had him I cooked and froze 14 meals!!! :blink:

This time I hope it's the sleep "nesting".....I'm barely half way done and I'm already beat!!! :D :D

I didn't really. At that point i tried to keep the house semi-clean anyway...and I think I told hubby to clean his mess up so we wouldn't be bringing the baby home to a mess LOL. So my 'nesting' was more like telling him what he needed to do. The thing I really remember is taking one last nap the day I was going in to be induced...I figured I'd be missing alot of sleep soon enough (little did I know ROTFL).

I didn't really do it either, especially with Rae, I had a 3 year old and an 18 month old, I just slept the best I could because I was insanely huge.

Not unless you count organizing digital stash lol. That's about all I have been capable of doing lately as it doesn't involve moving lol. I'm always too ill when I am pregnanct to do much at all plus I never make it to full term anyway so maybe it just diesn't have time to kick my butt into gear lol. Hugs Crystal xx

I had it with my first but not at all with my second.
Please don't worry, instead... do some micromanaging and put other people to work doing things!!

I was never a real nester...but especially not with Stella. I was so lazy..but it was awful and it hurt so bad to just move because she was blocking my kidneys the whole time. :D

Oh I was not a nester at all.
Actually I bought the crib and a couple of stuff 2 weeks before his birth.
Lucky me my co-workers made me a HUUUGE baby shower with tons of gifts.
But I`ve NEVER had the urge to clean so far... LOL

I never nested...with either one. I nested early on with Emma but with Mads I was just way too tired, and fat, to even care.

I went to walmart and got all these cleaning supplies when I was PG with my oldest. Got home and went to the bathroom, lost my mucus plug and got to the hospital and found out I was in labor. Didnt nest with her.

With my middle son I was on bedrest for about the last three to four months so I COULDNT nest.

With my youngest they became really concerned with my blood pressure so they told me to go to the hospital and he was born exactly 6 weeks early so I was not even prepared to have him at that point. While I was in the hospital his grandmother brought a whole bunch of stuff over and set it up for me

Nope... didn't nest! I was too fat to be cleaning. :p I just wanted to sit on the couch and watch TV and take naps all day. lol

God I feel so much better, I was almost scared labor wasnt gonna come on cause I wasn't nesting LMAO. I am freakin huge and uncomfortable so I will chalk it up to that too but its like I think im finally gonna get motiaved and then nothing. I have 16 days till my due date and I dont see it coming on anytime within the next couple of weeks.
On another note we are moving hopefully the beginnning of May so I have a bad feeling my lazy streak is just about over anyhow LMAO

I usually started nesting around the 1/2 way mark and then not again. LOL It was short-lived.

I think it's different when it's your first and second baby and by the time the 3rd or 4th rolls around, you've been there, done that. KWIM?

You're probably more relaxed with this pregnancy than with the others - you're a pro now!! ;)

Believe me, don't worry about it. I think you'll be busy enough over the next few weeks.
