...whose read it?

OMGOSH - I am just blown away! While I'm not quite finished (still have 200 pages to go in the first book), I think I love Claire and Jamie even more than Bella and Edward. It's such a passionate and beautiful love story so far and I love that my heart wants them to be together so badly as I'm reading. I've read the synopsis of the next few books so I know that they dont stay together 100% of the time (that wouldnt be a very exciting story obviously) but I cant bear the thought of them being apart.

Anyhow, any other fans?

R

I saw this book at the used store the other day and was going to get it but then i looked and the type is SO small (well in that copy anyways) there was no way i'd be able to read it without going blind :(

OMG! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!
My favorite series EVER in the HISTORY OF THE WORRRRRLD! LOL
Sorry, I just get so excited, as seen in posts where people ask for book suggestions.
R, if you love Outlander...OMG this is JUST THE BEGINNING!
You haven't even begun the whirlwind, amazing, breath-taking, awe-inspiring rest of the story.
I cannot wait til you finish and crack open the next book.
Outlander puts Twilight to shame.
If you ever wanna chat these books, IM me.

Oh YAY! I'm so glad there are some fans here - seriously, it is just a beautiful story and WOW, is it just me or is the sex in this book pretty gosh darn HOT? I think especially so because it's clear how much they love (and want) each other which I think is how every amazing relationship should be. Hubba hubba!

Uhh yeah, it's steamy.
I remember not liking my DH very much when I first read the series, LOL.
I just wanted my own young, hot, strong Scottish boy to play with!

I tried to get into them b/c I heard they were good but they just weren't really for me. I LOVE historical fiction but I couldn't get into the fantasy side of that book with the time travel and stuff...plus I wasn't really expecting those sex scenes lol

The description sounds really good.. see this is one of those times where a kindle would be great - increase the print size like 2x.. lol. I even looked around to see if there is a large print version but couldn't see anything.

oh I do use the library (all the time) but I don't think the'yd have large print.. i even looked on amazon for large print and nothing came up. our library here is pretty tiny too.. one of those " joys" of living in a small town.

What about one of those light/magnifying reader thingies? I bet Barnes and Noble have them.

You know it's a BIG book and it appears to have a lot of text (and well it does) so that intimidated me at first because I don't like spending weeks reading the same book but really, the text is pretty comparable most other books I've read and it's a really easy read that's a total page turner. I think it's been a pretty fast read in general.

Ooh I love Outlander! I've read the first three books in the series so far and need to finish the last three before the new one comes out in a few months. I read them right before I read the Twilight books last summer and after I read those I got totally sidetracked by all these vampires and paranormal fiction books that I haven't been able to finish them yet.

My fav series EVER! LOVE it! I actually am thinking of trying to find time to reread it! Its been a while. I didnt know there was another one coming out omg!

Ok! Finished book 1 - oooh ahhh - sooo good. Cant wait to read Dragonfly in Amber now. I'm neurotic tho, I bought the large paperback of Outlander and went to two bookstores yesterday and both only had the small paperback of Dragonfly and I have to have a matchy matchy set so I ordered through B&N.com and I should have it and Voyager by Monday - yay!

I just added those books to my toead file (I read everything on an electronic book reader). It's making me want to get through my current series even faster now!!

I'm reading that series right now. I'm on the 5th book and will finish it by the weekend. So good! My favorite was the 3rd book. But pretty intense reading...like Mandy said, they make the Twilight series seem like baby books.

Robin - my 2nd and 4th book are the smaller ones. :/ I'm hoping I can find the 6th one in the larger size as they are much easier on my eyes.

I am totally a fan! I read Outlander a couple of months ago, then life got WAY busy and am saving the next one as a bribe to myself to get some yucky stuff done! Love that others like the book too!

Outlander and Voyager are my two faves. It's hard to pick really thought because they're all so damn good in their own right.
