Wondering about getting published...

I've started threads at different places (DST and OScraps) about getting published and I was just wondering what y'all thought about it. I've actually posted in my BLOG just a little bit about it...but I was wondering if you feel like you have to change who you are as a scrapper to get published. Just wondering your thoughts...I am participating in a chat later this afternoon about this topic, too...more info on my blog!
