My son discovered his first loose tooth this morning and by tonight- it's out. He was SO excited... when he called grandma excitedly to tell her he said, "The tooth fairy's going to come and I bet she'll give me like a hundred dollars!" Well, I'm pretty sure the tooth fairy is feeling the effects of the recession as well... so how much can I expect her to bring?;) It was a quarter in my day...

And enable me with some tooth related kits while you're at it!

what perfect timing. My son turned 6 on Saturday and has had a loose tooth for like 2 weeks now. it finally came out today while at school. Tooth fairy used to leave me $1 but my son seems to think it's about $100 now as well LOL.

LOVE the kits suggested Thanks!!

We're doing the EXACT same thing at my house this week! DD (7yrs.) is going to be losing her very first tooth within a few days.

I like the idea of doing something "big" for the first tooth and then being realistic (haha) for the rest of them.

Another idea that was given to me, totally non-money related, is to leave the tooth in a bowl of water - known as the tooth fairy's bath. Once the fairy has taken the tooth and had her bath, the water changes color, depending on what color of dress she was wearing (food coloring). If the fairy "forgets" and leaves the water clear, she was wearing a white dress. ;)

My girls would think this was neat, so I may try it.

I'm excited for DD, she is totally pumped, but I'm nervous about those permanent teeth. What if they're crooked, or gap-y or expensive? LOL

Anyway, those are some fun kits to scrap with - thanks!!

The tooth fairy always leaves $2 bills here for every tooth. There was a time that two of my kids lost 6 teeth in one week. That was crazy and the tooth fairy was tired of visiting the bank.

For my daughters first teeth (she lost her 2 bottom teeth in the same day) the Tooth Fairy left her a cute gold ring. For the teeth after that she's been leaving toonies.

$1 per tooth here. :) And I love Grinalicious - that's what I scrapped my daughter's first lost teeth with too.
