I am trying to make a potty training chart using Darcy's template and for whatever reason the drop shadows aren't working. I opened up another template and they work fine, so I am not sure why I can't get them to work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get them to work?

Thanks

Hi, Becky,

Do you mean you're not able to do drop shadows in your program with it? There are no drop shadows included in the file. Are you trying to use the .psd version or the .tiff version of them.

I just opened both versions of the template and was able to apply drop shadows to both.

Yes, I am trying to do drop shadows with PSE. I can't apply drop shadows to any part of the template or to elements/alphas that I have added on my own. I am using the PSD version. I hope this makes sense.

Becky - I don't know PSE, so I don't know if it's something within the program. Is there a possibility that you can just open up the tiff file and drag your pieces over to it?

...wanted to add - I am checking on it.

Ok...this is going to sound crazy but I just opened the tiff file and I can't get the drop shadows to work. I just don't really understand because if I open any other PSD template, I can add drop shadows. It is just this particular template that I can't figure out :(

Okay, Becky - Tracey gave me an idea. Open a new canvas. Link all of the layers of the template on the canvas that isn't working for you and drag them on to a new canvas.

Okay Becky - I did just send you a link to a new download of it, just in case. Glad you got it to work!
