Today I took the girls and our 2 chihuahuas down the street to my inlaw's house so we could all play outside (they have a fence, we don't). They have 2 dogs too. After being outside awhile the two bigger dogs (our fat chihuahua and their rat terrier) are running around like they're looking for something. I look around and see that the two little chihuahuas are missing. Greeaaaat. Both gates are closed so it means they dug a hole and got out somewhere. So I stick the other dogs in the house, open the gate and wait for them to come back. I couldn't go after them because I had Libby and Claire and I'm not leaving them to look for the dogs. Next thing I know there's a police car (small town - the police are super nice) and he sees me looking around. He asks if the one dog is mine - I say yes. He and I both chase him around. I explained that I couldn't go looking for them because of the girls. So we catch 1 dog and he drives around looking for the other. A few minutes later there's a lady riding down the street on a tractor. She flags me over and there I see it. My prissy little chihuahua in her pink cupcake collar prancing down the middle of the street like she's something else. The best part? She's being followed by the police car. Yes, prancing down the street with a police escort. Spoiled little dog!! LOL!! Who would have thought there'd be a 3 ring circus on our quiet little corner of town!!
