My volume button

is missing from my task bar. Anyone know how to get it back? I'm using Vista.

Reboot. Honestly, that's the only way I've been able to get it back. Wish I had some other way!

Right click on the Task Bar and go to Properties, then click on the Notification Area tab and make sure Volume is checked off.

You know, I've done that hundreds of times when my volume icon is missing and it's always been checked. Weird.

Ugh. Mine disappears frequently with Vista too. :thumbdown: So annoying. Rebooting is the only way I've been able to get it back too. :blink:

Well, mine was unchecked but it wouldn't let me turn it back on until after I rebooted. But it's working again and I am happy, happy, happy...

♥ and yay! I can make the cute little hearts on my keyboard at work...
