Sheer Cover?

Has anyone ever tried Sheer Cover? Every time I see the infomercial for this, I want to buy it. hehe
Just wondering if it's as fabulous as it sounds. I'm in need of new makeup and don't wanna make a bad purchase. ;)

I've not tried Sheer Cover, but I use Pur Minerals which is very similar. It's fabulous! I love, love, love it, you can get pur minerals at Dillards.

Eh, it's ok. All the colors were too yellow for my skintone. There are better mineral companies out there. :)

I have, but I like Bare Minerals MUCH better! I've been using Bare Minerals for soooo many years. You can get it online, QVC (where it originally started) and even Ebay now. I would suggest Bare Minerals over Sheer Cover. :) Oh, and I've tried the cheap kind you can get at Wal-Mart or Target, and did not like those either. Go for Bare Minerals, they have a guarantee so you're not out anything if you don't like it.

If you're looking for a mineral make-up, I'd definitely try Bare Minerals. I just started using it in November and LOVE it!

Very cool, thanks for the enable, I just put in an order at every day minerals. They ship to Canada, and have Paypal as an option!

I use Everyday Minerals and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's the best brand I've tried!!! And you can get 3 free samples to try it out ...

I HAVE tried Sheer Cover, and it is just EH to me. It is not bad; I use it if I am not going out that day, want to wear a little make up but do not want to waste the good stuff.

I used it while I was in the States this past winter, and my girlfriends commented on how good my skin looked. But here in Malaysia where it is 100% humidity year round, Sheer Cover doesnt cut it.

I start with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, which works wonders at helping my foundation last longer, and then I use Philosophy: The Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas. It is a " high pigment powder" and the $35 bottle has lasted me five months and looks like it will at least last through the end of the year. I totally recommend it. It lasts all day, doesnt let my red skin shine through and doesn't get in my wrinkles.

I use Smashbox's Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder and I dearly love it. It is a little pricey, but it doesn't take much to even out my complexion. I buy mine at beauty.com, but I know that it is available at other stores as well. I like beauty.com a lot. They are really quick in shipping and they take paypal. :)

ETA: I do use a primer before I use it. I either use Smashbox's (mentioned in the post above mine) or an Avon one that I really love.

Okie dokie! I got my sample kit today! The little samples are sooo cute. :P hehe
I have a question for the EM gals... what's your fave finish for the base and blushes? Base... I don't really have a big problem with oil, but I do live in the desert so it needs to last through me sweating. haha Matte? Original glo? Blushes... what's the difference between sheen and shimmer? I like a little shimmer, but I don't want to be shiny, iykwim.

THANKS for the recommendation. This stuff is GREAT for my sensitive skin. I bought mineral makeup from someone a few years ago and it totally irritated my skin and made me itchy. Don't have this problem with EM and it made my skin feel super soft!

Well, apparently EM lets you order more free sample kits (in separate orders). So, I'm going to order another sample kit with the same shade in 3 different finishes. That'll do it. ;)

Every order you can get a free sample kit :) So once I found out my shade, Id order free samples every time I order, LOL. If you like their products, order the custom kit - the big ones are priced $8-10 but if you order the custom kit, you get 12pcs for 50$ - and choose between brushes, bases, blushes etc :)

Im an EDM fan :)

Yeah, I definitely will do a kit when I actually buy. That's a fantastic deal (even the smaller kit is).
