I am amazed...

...I finally gave in and bought Proactive, lol. i have been wanting to try it for so long, but afraid that it wouldn't work and it would be a waste. well, i've been using it for a week and i am very happy with the results! i have outgrown the really bad acne i had when i was a teenager, but i still get it on my chin and jaw line. this stuff has helped clear up the few i had and i haven't been getting anymore. my skin is really soft and just looks better, my mom commented on how nice it looks. i don't have reallly bad scarring from the bad stuff i had when i was younger, but i think its supposed to help fade scars too. it just looks so much nicer! i'm SO happy. its not cheap; the package i picked has a couple extra stuff for oil control and the refining mask so its going to cost me $50 every 2 months but its worth it! i'll have to take a picture, lol. it has given me back some self esteem and i just feel better. i'd even venture out with no makeup *gasp*

and i also hope that none of my kids inherit it and have to grow up with it like i did. it was painful and the teasing alone from other kids was absolutely horrible. i don't wish that on my worst enemy. those emotional scars take a lot longer to heal.

I have dry splotchy skin with the annoying tiny bumps that pop up and never go away. So most stuff just make things worse or didn't work at all. I love Proactive. Only thing that's ever worked for me. It's awesome isn't it! Since my allergy testing and changing my diet around, that's helping too. So as crazy as it sounds, next time you go to the dr. have them do a blood test for allergies- it might have something to do with the break outs too.
