I liked Shawn. I do think Melissa deserved 3rd but I do think Shawn and Gilles should have been switched. She only won by 1% right?

I don't really watch this show, but after taking dancing lessons with DH the guy really has a lot of work to do with leading, etc so my vote is always that the guy should win.

I thought Melissa was going to win from the beginning but the last few weeks she hasn't been great--I was glad she was third.

I really like Shawn and wanted her to win. I think Gilles would have won if his free-style was better. It was way too boring to me! But yeah, I think he was slightly better than Shawn.

I never really like shawn at all throughout the show. Every single dance, I could see the gymnast coming out, like how she'd hold her hands, etc. Bugged me! lol
I was totally rooting for Melissa b/c of the Bachelor! Just love melissa!
But, I thought Gilles was the best dancer!

I was rooting for Melissa and Gilles (in that order). Nothing against Shawn, I just didn't care for her dance style as much.

Shawn was the better of the two on Monday though. Her freestyle was awesome. Gilles was most likely the better overall, but it went on Monday's voting not the whole season.

I really wanted Melissa to win so that Tony would get it. I :wub: Tony.

I'm not disappointed in the results, but then I didn't care who won this season. They were all good.

Now, if you're going to be mad at anyone--it's the voting public. Gilles and Cheryl had higher judges scores, so it definitely fell to the public this time.

ITA with all of that. Melissa had really been dropping and deserved third. Shawn really came out the best in the last 2 nights. Her free style was way, way better then the other 2. Really she improved the best throughout while Gilles was just pretty constantly good. I would have been happy if Shawn or Gilles had won last night. I would not have been happy if Melissa did.
