and it went super-smooth and quick. The nurse said that when Naomi woke up from the anesthesia, she asked her, "Do you want juice or an ice pop?" and Naomi said, "I want mama!" *collective awwwww*
The surgeon said it went perfectly and that sadly he might see us again....that these often become chronic. It looks a million percent better! I'm going to pay super close attention from now on when she has her shoes on the wrong feet. I always thought, "eh, let her be independent, it can't hurt anything"....but obviously I was wrong...
They changed their mind about the Versed, saying she may not go all the way under with it, and just put her under with gas, but she woke up pretty quickly! When they carried her off to the OR, she didn't even cry! Made me proud
And right now...she's running around the living room like nothing even happened! Thanks for all of your P&PT!!
