Anyone else pick up the new Wii exercise game? I have already done 2 workouts, totally got me sweating, and I am sore! I definitely recommend it, so much better than Wii Fit. Oh, and if you already have Wii Fit you can use the board to enhance some of the Active exercises.

OMG Jenn! I was *just* coming here to post about this game!!! We got it yesterday and I did the Sports Day (easy) workout last night and it was AWESOME!! And you're right: So much better than the Wii Fit. Better workout, full circuit, and keeps you sweating!! I can't wait to do another work out tonight!!

eta: dh and I are starting the 30-day challenge tomorrow. Can't wait!

I've been wanting the Wii Fit and other programs! Would you not recommend getting wii fit at all and just get the EA Active instead?

Once I recover from my upcoming c-section, I want to try one of these programs to lose the baby weight.

Rachael, I would skip the Wii Fit. It is OK, and it great if you want to do some Yoga and stretching, but it is hard to keep up a good pace and work up a sweat. With the Wii Fit, there is down time in between exercises (you have to pick a new exercise after completing one), were the EA Active game sets up a whole workout for you.

You don't need the Wii Balance board for the new game, but you can incorporate it if you already have it.

I agree with what Jenn said. The full-circuit workouts on the Active is 100x better than the Fit stuff. Althought I do like the Fit step aerobics. But I"ve hear Active has step stuff too.

I'm glad I waited on getting the Wii Fit. I will probably pick it up this weekend :) My sister got the Wii Fit and she's used it a bit ---- but not too much after the first week.

I hope to come back with a good review for it too :)

We have the balance board but mainly use it for Wii Ski.

The EA Active game is about $60. It comes with the game, the leg band and resistance band.

I am starting a 30 day challenge at DSA on June 1st if anyone wants to join in.
