question for people who use a logitech trackball

Does your wheel on the mouse (the one between the left/right buttons) ever stop working? Mine will just stop scrolling in the middle of the page. I never really realized how much I depended on it but I use it when Im online and also while scrapping to zoom. So what Im wondering if you have had this problem is there a fix or does it need to be replaced? It is about three years old Id guess

no, the scroll never quit. my microsoft trackball (with the ball under your thumb) quit on me so now i'm using some regular old mouse. my computer just doesn't recognize it anymore. i use the scroll a lot too. i miss my trackball, but they are either hard to find or pricey.
